1. Separate organizations and separate funding tracks
Nukhu Media, LLC operates nukhu.com as a commercial streaming, distribution, crowdfunding, advertising, and creator platform. The Nukhu Foundation is a separate nonprofit organization that may provide grants, mentorship, workforce programming, nukhufest programming, and fiscal sponsorship services.
Standard Nukhu.com crowdfunding is not a charitable donation and is not tax deductible. It uses NuPoints escrow through Nukhu Media, LLC. See the Fundraising Campaign Terms.
2. Fiscal sponsorship donations
If a project is fiscally sponsored by the Nukhu Foundation, donations for that project must be made through the foundation's approved donation flow or approved processor. Those donations are made to the Nukhu Foundation for the sponsored project and are not processed through standard Nukhu.com NuPoints crowdfunding.
Tax deductibility may depend on donor eligibility, the foundation's status and receipt, applicable law, and the value of any goods or services received by the donor. Donors should consult their own tax advisors.
3. No automatic transfer between systems
Purchasing NuPoints on nukhu.com is not a donation to the Nukhu Foundation. Backing a commercial Nukhu campaign is not the same as donating to a fiscally sponsored project. NuPoints pledged through standard Nukhu crowdfunding do not generate charitable donation receipts.
4. Links and project pages
Nukhu.com may display a badge, notice, or link indicating that a project is fiscally sponsored by the Nukhu Foundation. Any such link may direct users to a foundation-approved donation page. The donation page may have separate terms, privacy notices, receipts, and donor disclosures.
5. Perks and benefits
Foundation-sponsored donations should not use the standard Nukhu commercial perk ladder unless the foundation approves the benefit structure and tracks any required fair market value disclosures. Goods, services, event access, credits, or other benefits may reduce the deductible amount of a donation.
