Donna Sola

Ana lives in the inner city of the suburbs of Rimini. Despite her being just a little girl, her childhood is denied by her mother Tamara, who always takes her during the burglaries. Something happens during one burglary and puts a glimmer of light to Ana's mind: the chance of having a normal life.

Donna Sola is the story of a woman, of many women who have lost themselves and are searching for their own way. It is a short film aimed at raising awareness and reflecting on realities that are often concealed, but are closer to all of us than we think. Donna Sola is an all-round project created to give a voice to women and children who have found the strength to speak out about violence and break down the wall of indifference, which is why it is also set to become a podcast.
