Malicia - Rincon Sapiencia

Rincon Sapincia alerts black people of the need to remain awake to combat racism ingrained in Brazilian society. The country that has the largest black population in the world outside the African continent. Connected to the afrobeats movement, "Malcia" celebrates contemporary afro rhythms and presents narratives from Brazil. In the film, accompanied by four dancers, Rincon Sapincia is a kind of entity that evokes the forces of nature through dance. The dance generates energy that ends up destroying the statue of Borba Gato, a character in the history of the colonization of Brazil, a murderer of Indians and black people.
