Narrative

A lonely Yeti flies to North America to find what's missing in his life. This Film is about how a yeti's loneliness forces him to leave his home in search of a possible family connection. Using an abandoned plane he travels across the world in search of his family facing a few troubles when he arrives.

The original vision for Bigfeet was that we wanted to illustrate a sense of space, and loneliness. Ilaina and I met at Univeristy and were determined to work together, directing our own project. Visually inspired by a book Ilaina had read as a child- Tintin in Tibet- we did a lot of sketching and idea generation, and finally settled on our dopey protagonist, Yeti. We decided to make the most out of our vision and used stop motion and a small amount of 2D to do this.
